I'm Joshua Yoon, a CGI and 3D visualization artist with a career spanning more than 15 years across architecture, product visualization, commercial design, and digital art.

My career has taken me through a wide range of industries and creative environments, from architectural visualization and product CGI to large-scale commercial production. While the tools and technology have changed considerably over the years, the part of the work that continues to interest me most is the same: taking an idea, understanding what makes it work visually, and finding the best way to bring it to life.

I’ve always been drawn to both the artistic and technical sides of CGI. I enjoy lighting, materials, composition, and image-making, but I’m equally interested in the systems behind the work: improving workflows, learning new software, solving production problems, and finding more efficient ways to get from an idea to a finished image.

That curiosity has allowed me to move between different tools, industries, and styles throughout my career. I don’t think of software as the defining part of what I do. The tools continue to change. The ability to learn, adapt, problem-solve, and make strong visual decisions is what carries forward.

CGI has been at the center of my professional career, but I’ve never limited my interests to a single medium. Over the years I’ve explored photography, photo manipulation, graphic design, illustration, animation, game art, and other forms of digital creation. Some of those disciplines became professional tools, others remained personal creative outlets, but each influenced the way I approach imagery and design.

I still enjoy experimenting, learning, and finding new ways to make things. That curiosity is a large part of what brought me into this field in the first place, and it remains an important part of how I work today.
